Growth versus Resilience

27 november

For the Modern Enterprise, Compliance requirements are a moving target that must be consistently addressed, along with a growing cybersecurity risk. However, organizations struggle to adapt to rapidly changing regulatory and compliance requirements due to a heavy reliance on manual systems. Internally, it’s a challenge to map security controls to regulations across the cloud environment and maintain risk and maturing the cybersecurity posture. Organizations lack the ability to provide visibility of their security and compliance status to business stakeholders. The problem is compounded with the absence of integrated view of multiple compliance frameworks, redundant Security and GRC tools with overlapping capabilities, leading to multiple security dashboards and operational overheads.

Discussion topics:

  • Compliance requirements for the GDPR, NIS2, DORA, EU AI Act, etc. and country & industry specific data protection and privacy regulations are constantly changing. How are you designing and maintaining an integrated Compliance framework?
  • Many organizations have limited visibility into what is running in their entire digital estate (Hybrid-Cloud, Public Cloud & On-premises), which hinders an accurate inventory of assets. What’s your strategy to enhance visibility into security and compliance status, to proactively identify and report risks to business stakeholders?
  • There is a convergence of IT and OT, specifically in the verticals falling under Critical National Infrastructure. How are enterprises balancing the compliance and cybersecurity strategy for their legacy and the modern enterprise?
  • How are organizations continuously identifying threats in hybrid-cloud by refining controls framework to stay ahead of the threat curve?
  • What is your strategy to adopt automation to continuously address the security findings and keep a handle on the cost of compliance?
  • Shortage of qualified GRC and Cybersecurity professionals continues to plague organizations. How do you manage and retain talent in this competitive talent market?
