How do you ethically adopt AI in sensitive data handling?

5 november @ 12:00 - 16:30

AI use is becoming ubiquitous in large enterprises. They aim to stay ahead of their competitors by leveraging AI technologies to boost efficiency and unlock new value propositions. In recruitment companies, AI promises more efficient hiring processes and more fitting candidates for their clients. As one of the largest HR companies worldwide, Randstad is keen to adopt AI ethically, responsibly, and safely, compliant with regional rules and regulations.

Nonetheless, employing AI technology is potentially fraught with risk, especially when you have limited visibility into the tools processing your business’s critical information. In particular, biased algorithms can have far-reaching consequences, including severe reputational harm.

Many companies worldwide are in a similar situation. They must innovate rapidly, ensure legal compliance, and avoid bias. But it appears that everyone is still trying to figure out how to solve this complex issue.

Are you considering implementing AI technology in your business processes? How do you assess the risk of bringing this technology into your business? How do you decide which technologies to allow and for whom? Or, have your employees taken matters into their own hands, and are already using these tools? What visibility do you have into this today?

On November 5th, we will organize a roundtable discussion featuring Martin Woodward, Director of Global Legal and Head of Tech Legal at Randstad, who will explain how the HR giant is addressing these issues. James Tucker, Head of CISO, International at Zscaler, will elaborate on how they help Randstad protect their valuable assets.
